I glanced at the house.
His wife sat comfortably in a rocking chair with a glass of iced tea resting beside her.
She smiled warmly and gave a little wave.
He waved back immediately.
Then he turned to me again.
« When I used to mow in straight lines, my back was facing her most of the time. »
He gestured toward the curved tracks behind him.
« This way, every time I make a turn, I get another chance to see her. »
I stood there quietly.
He climbed back onto the mower.
