The representative called the performance ‘pure smut, brazenly aired on national television for every American family to witness’.In his letter, he also asked for an inquiry into the NFL and NBC over their ‘prior knowledge, review, and approval’.
« Children were forced to endure explicit displays of gay sexual acts, women gyrating provocatively, and Bad Bunny shamelessly grabbing his crotch while dry-humping the air, » Ogles wrote on X, adding: « And if that weren’t outrageous enough, the performance’s lyrics openly glorified sodomy and countless other unspeakable depravities. These flagrant, indecent acts are illegal to be displayed on public airways. »
He then claimed that the songs ‘Safaera’ and ‘Yo Perreo Sola’ featured sexual content that is ‘readily apparent across any language barrier’.
However, Axios debunked claims that the singer used the ‘f-word’ and reported that Bad Bunny actually bleeped out se*ually explicit words, or shortened his songs by taking out some of the more suggestive stuff.
Jill Zarin has been fired from the upcoming series The Golden Life following her comments about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl show.
It was recently confirmed that E! News would be going ahead with the Real Housewives of New York reunion series, but Zarin will now not be part of the project.
Blink49 Studios told Variety of its decision to axe her: « In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in The Golden Life. We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values. »
The move comes after Zarin made some unsavoury comments about Bad Bunny in a now-deleted video shared to Instagram on during the Super Bowl. »I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish, » the reality TV star said of his performance.
She went on to say that it was ‘totally inappropriate’ that the Puerto Rican singer was supposedly ‘grabbing his [groin] area’ in light of the young audiences watching and also questioned if he was ‘insecure’.
« You’ve got all these young kids watching the Super Bowl, and he doesn’t have to be grabbing himself every five seconds because he’s so insecure. Seriously, » Zarin fumed.
