Julian turned toward me.
“There’s something your father never told you.”
My father stared at my fiancé as though he had seen someone return from the dead.
“You’re Leonard’s son. You were only a little boy the last time I saw you.”
Whispers spread across the pews.
“What is happening?” I asked desperately.
