Then Brianna continued.
« But next to everyone else, she looks huge. »
I froze.
Marcus did too.
Without saying a word, he quietly pulled out his phone and started recording.
A few seconds later Brianna laughed again.
« I’ve got an even better idea. I’ll make it a water park. She’ll probably decide not to come on her own. There’s no way she’ll want to wear a swimsuit around everyone. »
Neither of us moved until the conversation ended.
Marcus stopped the recording and silently led me back to the car.
The drive home was quiet.
