The lawsuit alleges that after she refused to obey Glover’s ‘bizarre and inappropriate demands’, she was unlawfully evicted from their home. Glover is said to have locked her out when she went to mosque despite his refusal.
The LA Times reports the lawsuit goes on to accuse Glover of choking her in a headock, which left Doe with a scar on her neck.
It also claims that allegations made by Glover surrounding a petition for a restraining order were unfounded after he claimed she was ‘an unlawful intruder’ on his property.
A lawyer for Glover has since dismissed the lawsuit, describing it as ‘baseless allegations’.The lawyer told Variety: « Mr. Glover denies these baseless allegations in the strongest possible terms. The reality is that on March 2, 2024, Mr. Glover was the victim of an unprovoked felony assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence. Mr. Glover called LAPD, which came to the scene, investigated, and arrested Jane Doe.
« These facts are documented by law enforcement records and by the restraining order filed by Mr. Glover against Jane Doe at that time.
« Mr. Glover intends to vigorously defend himself and pursue all available relief. He is confident the judicial process will expose this lawsuit as a meritless fabrication. »
