Sharon pointed out on the red carpet that the posthumous recognition was particularly poignant since across his five-decade career Ozzy never won a BRIT award, although he did host the ceremony in 2008.

The Black Sabbath frontman sadly passed away in July last year, at age 76.He had just completed his Back To The Beginning farewell concert in his home city of Birmingham.

At the BRITs, the tribute to Ozzy saw Robbie Williams front the songs, while Kelly and Sharon watched on.

However, many instead focused on Kelly’s appearance, with many speculating that the 41-year-old had been using GLP-1 medication to lose weight.

The ‘Changes’ singer took to her Instagram Stories, where she hit out against people who commented on her looks.

She said: “There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something.“Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.”
